My Personal opinion; Hollywood has been against size acceptance for many years. Why are we still surprised when this happens? This also happens on the internet, with such sites such as our beloved YouTube pulling down videos of fully-clothed fat women. American society as a whole fits into the same category that they’ve labeled “overweight”, yet, here we are, bashing ourselves and pretending that most of us aren’t fat.
Yes, society needs a serious look in the mirror, but we’ve seen this type of thing countless times and refuse to boycott shows and stop using services. So who are we to complain if we’ve decided to not take action? “Just sit down, shut up, stuff your face with our sponsors products and enjoy our programming, fatty!”
