iphone apps for geek-thugs

yup. i am one of many iphone owners and i can say without a doubt; its about the coolest device ive owned since the debut of the PSP! the endless selection of applications and shit you can do on this phone, surpass any of the myriad of devices ive owned! so ive decided to cover some of the apps i think are way cool.

trapster
we all have friends who seem to be cop-magnets. y’know the ones; always getting themselves in debt due to outstanding tickets, going to do a couple of months in jail over silly bench warrants…? well, i am one of those people. but thanks to trapster, we can watch each others backs with a simple update!

how it works: you see a camera at an intersection, a cop in a hiding place, or any other type of speed trap. you press a button (or call a toll free number) to report where the speed trap is, and the program will alert you -on a google looking map- where the trap is, and how “hot” it is by alerting you with a sultry female computer voice, “police often hide here…“. perfect program for rushing to county jail for visiting hours, or those nights when you want to avoid checkpoints. its your own personal road-snitch i use this program at least once per day and it has saved mi ass!

unless youre a friggin lamer whos been living in fear of girls, guys, and some other 3rd thing – you know about the infamous 12seconds.tv website, where your viral videos are limited to 12 seconds. PERFECT for simple, short attention spans like mine. no long, boring-as-shit, self righteous vlogs about nothing at all. nope, you have exactly 12 seconds to make mi cry, shit miself laughing, or make mi think!
the hardworking peeps (shout out to beach, welcome home!) at 12seconds have an app that was recently approved by itunes. and i must say, its pretty cool app that you dont have to jailbreak for!

how it works: a non-jailbroken iphone is not “currently available” to record video. SO, you take 3 pics or choose 3 from your library, then record 12 seconds of audio to go with the pics. tag the pic with keywords, location, name of the vid, and hit “upload”. the end result is a moving slide show with the awesome audio you have just recorded (and twitter ready)! sick!

WHOA! ive seen recorder apps, but this one is cool as hell! ladies, ever have that boss thats always harassing you? always sliding up to you with, “that raise is still on the table, honey. all you gotta do is play with mi balls while pulling these anal beads out of mi butt!”? well, catch that jagoff saying all that slick shit with this great app right from your handy dandy iphone! the best feature i can list is that it RECORDS IN SLEEP MODE!!! other functions include: pitch control (from demon to chipmunk), a fwd/rwd jog wheel (perfect for dictation), and 3 quality modes (from low quality to high quality)! the files wont eat up your GB space either! i recorded for 5 min and it only used a handful of MBs, so record away!

how it works: ..umm, press record. then you have the choice of uploading it to iprorecorders remote website, or emailing it to a friend! now enjoi that out of court settlement while your pervy boss gets his house foreclosed on and everything he owns gets seized by the IRS! =o)
