Bar: The Maple Room
We’re walkin into the bar. The karaoke DJ has just began to play the long intro of Live’s “Lightning Crashes”. The bar tender grabs the wireless mic from behind the cash register, and starts singing. As hes singing, he takes the ladies’ order: one Corona - two limes, one Corona - one lime. Still singing, “oh i feel it coming back again…“, into the mic, held by his left hand, Coronas prepared by his right!
This is where it gets better: He asks what I want. I wait for him to sing another bar, and I ask for a shot of Cognac. Still singing his heart out, he pours the rest of the Courvoisier til it empties at half a shot. He throws the bottle away. This multi-talented fucker disappears, GOES ROUND TO THE STORAGE in the BACK of the building - still singing “lightning crashes, an old mother dies..“- and returns with a spankin new bottle of Courvoisier! By the end of the chorus, mi drink is sitting in a snifter. Thunderous applause from mi.
I had 2 shake his hand after that display. Wish I had that shit on video.
The infamous vlogger forgot his cam… What were you thinking? But no joke that would have been a tight ass video!
